Under current legislation Celtic Hearing is required to provide an access statement regarding the use of its facilities:

Front access to the shop is level over a UPVC threshold from the pavement, the lever door handle opens the full width (0.8 metre) glazed UPVC door into a hallway. Flooring is a fixed countersunk ribbed carpet mat.

A second internal door (0.8 metre width) with lever handle opens inwards at right angles from the hallway into the high-density carpeted waiting area. Seating and refreshments are provided here. Minimum passage width exceeds the door widths throughout.

The rear of the shop (testing and fitting area) is accessed via a low step (11 cm) - marked with high visibility wall stickers. Through a further level doorway (0.7 metre width) into the testing and fitting area. This area is also carpeted with high density carpet and features removable seating and ample space for wheelchairs.

The testing and fitting area can also be accessed directly from the entrance hallway if required via a low step (11cm) and a 0.7m side access door, which may prove easier for wheelchair users.

Given the nature of the business, a fixed telecoil loop system operates at the front reception desk.

A domestic visiting service is offered free of charge to all customers who are unable to visit the centre.

A Customer toilet is not provided.
