You can use the series of questions below to help you decide if you need assistance with your hearing. Our in-house testing will be able to confirm whether you have a hearing loss.

Each of the questions can be answered using the following scale - 1: hear clearly, 2: hear most words, 3: hear enough to understand, 4: struggle to get whole meaning, 5:often misunderstand what is being said.

A: You are in a Church/Chapel listening to the service. During the sermon or unusual parts of the service how well do you hear? 1-5.

B: You attend a function with lots of people at a village hall. How well do you hear the ladies voices? 1-5.

C: Family or friends invite you to a restaurant. How well do you hear young children when the restaurant is full? 1-5.

D: You are talking to somebody you don't know on the telephone, they begin to tell you some numbers, how well do you hear? 1-5.

E: You are paying for your shopping at the till, how clearly do you hear the amount they ask for? 1-5.

F: You are in the post office, how well do you hear through the screen without looking at the cashiers' face? 1-5.

If you score less than 10, you are unlikely to need a hearing aid, please take advantage of our free hearing evaluation to confirm the results.

If you score 11-20 it is possible that some form of amplification would help. Please don't hesitate to book your free evaluation and impartial advice.
